I was recently asked for my ideas on tackling corporate corruption. My answer was, and I said it sounds naïve, I think the Beatles were right,

Recommendations to the Crime and Misconduct Commission by Dr. Tamara Walsh, T C Beirne School of Law University of Queensland.
These recommendations, listed below, were ignored by the C M C The Summary Offences Act section 6 has to be amended to better reflect the High Courts definition of offensiveness. The High Court concluded that for behavior to be legally unacceptable, it must be intended, or reasonably likely, to provoke unlawful retaliation Police Officers and Magistrates need continuing education on the implications of the Coleman v Power decision handed down by the High Court.

WHY I`M HERE
This is not a case of simple corruption in the Queensland Police Service.It is systemic institutionalized Fascism to silence free speech and give tacit support to corruption.
"What life has taught me about humanity and it's place in nature, from Behavioural Psychology to Thermodynamics" "We`re Screwed" That's why I wrote and sang," Something is Wrong", "PCB Blues" and "You're a Greenie", that is until I was brutally bashed one evening in Brisbane by two men. People were beginning to listen to my scathing originals, which challenged the corruption and environmental vandalism of the Beattie, Bligh government. But not everyone in the small crowds and passers by appreciated my words or my right to sing them. For over nine months, before I was bashed, I was systematically harassed, bullied and told to, "Shut up or someone is going to do you". I have proof that my assailants are connected to the Queensland Police Force. I told Inspector Russell Miller in person that I could identify one of them, he was a cop. CC video surveillance tapes, which would have shown the assault, were never requested in court; pages of evidence were ignored in the so-called investigation and verballing of my case. The police clearly did not want to know. They continue the cover up. I was not robbed. My assailants wanted my silence. While I have all but given up on the Justice System, and no longer busk in the city, I continue to challenge entrenched political corruption with my own distinctive form of public protest. My collection of bold hand written T-shirts asks questions that demand answers. Alarmingly, they have attracted the same sort of menacing attention that my music did twelve years ago. For the past six years I've been standing on the corner with my signs, still fighting. "I lost my America one evening in the early 1970`s at Kent State University, Ohio. We had just learned we had been bombing Cambodia for weeks without a declaration of war killing thousands of men, women and children. I turned my back on the Riot Police`s shotguns that night and soon left America. That was over three and a half decades

THE LATEST DEVELOPMENTS
IN THIS CASE First arrest: By Sergent Thomson. Charged, convicted and fined $300 dollars for obstructing police, public nuisance and having a pocketknife. Public nuisance set aside in the District Court. Obstruct police quashed in the Appeals Court. After fighting two years I decided not to appeal to the Supreme Court and paid the reduced fine of $50 dollars for having a pocketknife. Second arrest: By Senior Constable
Shane William Peacock of the Logan Police. Charged convicted and fined
$75 dollars for public nuisance. Peacock has been sentenced on 21
09 07, to spend five years in jail with parole in eighteen months,
for a car accident involving the death of a man. Peacock was four
times over the alcohol limit and initially lied and said the other
man had been driving. I have him on tape not wearing his seat belt
while transporting me to the Capalaba Police Station to be booked.
The two phone calls from Peacock and Constable Quinn immediately prior
to my arrest went to Sergeant Thomson’s private cell phone.
A third call from Constable Bishop who works for the Wynnum Water
Police but was at the time working at the Capalaba Police Station
also went to Thomson’s private cell phone. Bishop just happened
to drive by and wittiness an imaginary car swerve because my actions
on the footpath. How convenient that Bishop was there in that twenty-second
period to back up Peacock and Quinn’s story. Brisbane Magistrate
Taylor accepted all of this perjury and convicted me. I’m still
awaiting District Court decision D343/06 by Judge Nase on this matter.
It’s been 1 year now and no decision on my appeal. Judge Nase`s Decision handed down
28/04/2008. Appeal allowed; Conviction and sentence set aside; and
a verdict of not guilty is entered. Judge Nase said, "If Mr. Courtney
is guilty of "disorderly behaviour" so is my local federal
member of parliament. For months before the last federal election
teams of uniformed supporters, and some even dressed up as animals,
behaved in much the same way as Mr. Courtney did ..." Six Police officers have committed
perjury and lied under oath perverting the course of justice. Thomson,
Emerson, Peacock, Quinn and Bishop. Any wonder why I call it the Injustice
System. I have now added, Officer in Charge, Capalaba Station,
Acting Inspector David Nevin`s name to this list. Click on cop
warning and Police lie under oath below. Third arrest: I`ve
been fined $250.00 for offending Sergeant Thomson with my T-shirt
(Queensland Justice and Police Uniform too corrupt to wipe dog shit
from my shoe) and Zig Heiling him. When you challenge the state with
corruption, freedom of speech does not exist. The Queensland Police
and Magistrates do not agree with the Australian Constitution, it
has no bearing on their thinking. They bypass it as if it doesn't
exist. You are guilty until you can prove yourself innocent. The Police
brief of evidence is considered fact and your testimony is considered
hearsay. That's been my experience now 3 times. But still fighting
the mendacity.
I have filed an appeal in the District Court 23/04/2008 to fight this 3rd conviction of Public Nuisance.October 27, 2008. I WIN AGAIN, THAT'S THREE IN A ROW. Police and Civil Liberties used what happened to me to go after people they decided to go after but it stopped at the Sheperson Inquiry. They decided not to go after the Police who were involved in the intimidation, bullying and bashing. This has been a total cover up.
Harassed and bullied by local cops for having a walking stick, my T-shirts and my signs. The only good thing is that half of the local cops are good cops. I get waves, thumbs up, two thumbs up and even respectful military salutes On two occasions I even got applause from cops. It’s confusing to many people that I’m standing there with my signs and the good cops are supporting me.
Housing Queensland became involved when various persons manipulated the waiting list for public housing. The Minister Robert Scharten`s office assured me the waiting list could not possibly be manipulated. But this was done at the Capalaba office and with the assistance of workers within Queensland Mental Health. Senior Sergeant David Nevin`s core group of proud Neo-Fascist thinking officers were ready to step in the same as Neo-Fascist mental health workers tried to do but I solved the problem with the help of the new local manager of Housing Queensland. This type of networking is unethical, immoral and it harms all of us. My Police statement of 26 01 05 shows the corruption. 2nd assault by my neighbor 05/09/2008. Click on Housing Queensland above. Hearing date set for 9 am the 19th of August 2009. The Magistrate referred the matter to Justice Mediation which failed. On 29/09 2010, the Capalaba Police have notified me that he has been charged and given a notice to appear on 21/12/2010. Update: As of 21/12/2010, This matter has now been moved to the Brisbane Magistrate Court 20 at 9:00 A M. 11-01-11 for mention and hearing date. 11/11/2011 Unit fire. Upstairs neighbor charged with intent to cause
grievous bodily harm. Also known as Jobs Inc. Jobs Association Incorporated was an Employment Organization with funding from the Department of Education Employment and Training. In my opinion Jobs Inc. was getting into inappropriate and unethical attempts at funding itself through fraudulent submissions to the Gaming Machine Community Benefit Fund. I wrote a statutory deceleration stating Jobs Inc. was corrupt and gave it to the Bayside Bulletin. The influence of the Labor Forum Faction is strong in the Redlands area. It has kept its choice of people in government or as candidates for many years. Jobs Inc. was run by Joan Budd who was Labor`s returning officer. She worked with Jim Elder the then Deputy Premiere; her husband John Budd worked for Henry Palaszcuk then in Primary Industries. Joan’s son Shawn Hipkins is political advisor to the local member of Parliament Michael Choi... It goes on and on...[Page 90 Sunday Mail news.com.au December 10 2000]. Joan Budd, John Budd, the Deputy Premier Jim Elder and many others were all kicked out of the Labor Party after the Sheperson Inquiry.
My communication
with the Federal Ombudsman was interfered with by Police and postal
workers. I received this letter completely opened and without a postmark
impression. These corrupt Neo-Fascist Police needed to know that no
Federal agent was going to be looking over their shoulder as they
continued the government's cover up. This is the only time in 36 years
that I’ve had a problem with my mail. Only a
seriously biased person could think all of these incidences
are coincidences. This is
the first time in my life that I have been arrested. The only other
time I was finger printed was in 1957 when I joined the US Navy. I
carried a side arm as a permanent shore patrol
petty officer and worked out of a Police station. This is only the beginning of my indignation at a corrupt Government that cannot survive with out a corrupt Police Service.
With this link I’ve tried to show a few things to do and not do if you chose to fight our Red, White and Blue corrupt Neo-Fascist Queensland State Government and it’s corrupt Neo-Fascist Police Service. If they were doing to you what they are still doing to me, you too would be disappointed with our so-called Democracy. When liberty and justice fails one of us it fails all of us. One day like me it may happen to you. AS IT DID ON PALM ISLAND with the death in custody of Doomadgee under the knee of Senior Sergeant Chris Hurley, as it has done with Doctor Mohamed Haneef, as it has done with David Hicks. He replied the PCMC said "it`s a police matter." Michael Choi was a sitting member at that time of the PCMC.
I have proudly Zig Heiled Michael Choi at this very location at the last state election when he repeatedly kept touching me after I told him not to. The line of traffic honked their horns and yelled approval.

Below I`ve listed the reasons our corrupt Queensland Government had to silence me using it`s corrupt Police Force.
As far back as 1995 while I was mostly unemployed and busking I began doing a lot of reading that eventually took on the form of research into environmental and economic issues. Of the many books and subjects I researched was Dr. David Suzuki`s T V programs and books. Of the many bibliographies I researched I found a reference to Herman E. Daly and specifically his book, "ECONOMICS, ECOLOGY, ETHICS ESSAYS TOWARD A STEADY-ECONOMY" Prior to reading Daly`s books I had become very pessimistic about the future of humanity, remember this was well over a decade ago, but Daly had something new to say, Steady State Economics. I had never heard the term before and economics was not a subject I was comfortable with. As I studied and researched I began to get a profound respect for this man and his work. At last I was beginning to come out of my pessimism and loss of hope for humanity. Again thanks to Dr. Suzuki information on the "world scientist warning to humanity" ( Recently referred to by Al Gore in his "An Inconvenient Truth") I wrote the Union of Concerned Scientist and got permission to photo copy their brochure. I began handing it out while I was busking in Brisbane. (See below) I had finally come to understand something that was revolutionary in it`s concept, Steady State Economics, not the same old boom and bust of pro-growth economics with it`s ever increasing population expansion that was destroying everything around me but an exciting new way forward. I was also becoming aware that the Queensland Government was more frightened by steady state economics than a communist revolution, or an old hippy like me, because there was no need for violence or revolution, we could save ourselves easily with a new economic system. Hence the song "Something Is Wrong" and it`s chorus.
"Something is wrong when the system has to be saved, rather than the way of life the system is suppose to serve." I got this sentence from my university days. It`s a sentence from Professor B. F. Skinners book "Beyond Freedom and Dignity." Skinner is considered by many to be the father of behavioral psychology.
So when I was busking these corrupt Police and Labor Party Nazis repeatedly told me to shut up I told them repeatedly to "go to hell."
Labor Party men in suits drew first blood on Edward street one evening before the premeditated bashing by the blonde Police operative. They stopped and listened to my song "Something is wrong" and then became extremely upset at my replies about what I considered a corrupt Beattie Labor Government. They then asked me "but what about X-Premier Wyane Goss?" and I replied I thought he was a crook as well. They then became even more indignant and the head suit said "I`ll take care of you." They did! I`ll elaborate on what they did at a later date.
The Queensland Premier Anna Bligh recently said in the Courier Mail, under threat of being sued by Mr. Clive Palmer, "Freedom of speech is alive and well in Queensland". I was in the Courts 6 times over a period of 3 years, fighting for free speech, criticized, belittled and convicted for public nuisance by 3 extremely biased Labor appointed Magistrates. I was doing what all politicians do before an election, stand on the corner with a sign. Bligh has the temerity to say "Freedom of speech is alive and well in Queensland". If it is it only applies to the Labor Party. I have yet to experience free speech in Queensland without being assaulted, intimidated or bullied by these corrupt people.
